    Father Jordan was born in San Antonio, Texas. He is first generation Greek. His father came to America from Greece in 1940’s, served in the Korean War, and was a career Army Officer serving in the medical corp. His mother came from Greece in the early 1960’s with his father. Their family moved to Colorado in 1969. The Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Denver was his home parish.

    As a teen, he enjoyed the GOYA Youth ministry, singing in the choir, serving in the altar, and participating in the Greek Dance Program. He is graduate from Metropolitan State University with degrees in Political Science and Business. He is a graduate of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology with a Masters in Divinity, Class of 1993. His wife, Presbytera Marika (Maniatis) of 31 years, have four children, and one granddaughter, Cassandra.

    Fr. Jordan has a passion for our youth, he has served as the Spiritual Advisor to the GOYA Ministry, Camp Emmanuel Director, 2021 & 2022, serving at Metropolis Youth Camps, and the Ionian Village in Greece. He has served as a college campus chaplain for over 25 years. He has also served on the Archdiocesan Presbyters Council, Metropolis of Denver Council, vice president of the Clergy Syndesmos, and IOCC Frontliner Chaplain. He will be celebrating his 29th anniversary to the priesthood in 2022. He was elevated by His Eminence, Metropolitan Isaiah to the office of Protopresbyter. He served in Texas for close to 20 years, the Pacific Northwest for 4 years, and the parish of Sts Peter and Paul, Boulder, Colorado, since 2014.

    Father Jordan enjoys the outdoors and cooking for his family and friends. One of his favorite biblical passages is, “They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked to us on the road, while He opened to us the scriptures?” St Luke 24:32.

    Father Michael, a second generation Greek-American, hails from the vibrant city of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His family's rich heritage traces back to Chios, Greece, where his great grandfather embarked on a journey to America culminating in the 1920’s when, accompanied by his wife and young children, they settled in Oklahoma City and established a successful grocery store downtown, weaving their Greek roots into the fabric of this bustling American city.

    From an early age, Fr. Michael found solace and purpose within the Church. He energetically engaged in various activities, including GOYA, altar service, and Greek dancing. His true home has always been the Church.

    Fr. Michael and his beloved wife, Presvytera Sarah have been friends since their high school days. Their connection deepened over time, leading them to marriage in 2008. Today, they are blessed with a growing family, raising four remarkable children named Peter, Stephen, Evyenia, and Alexander.

    Fr. Michael devoted several years to the food and beverage industry, gaining valuable life experiences and insights along the way. However, determined to answer a calling to ministry, he and his family ventured to Boston in 2017, where he immersed himself in the study of theology, and successfully attained a bachelor’s degree from Hellenic College in 2020 and soon after graduated from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, where he earned his Master’s of Divinity.

    Driven by a passion for community and a heartfelt desire to serve the Lord, Fr. Michael and his family have now serve the beautiful community of the Assumption Cathedral. The vibrant community of Denver presents an exciting opportunity to forge deeper connections with God, the Church, and the community there and to continue their journey of spiritual growth.
